Thank you, Lalitha!

We recommend you reach out to a psycho-oncologist -- a psychologist who deals with cancer patients -- and you can find one by reaching out to your hospital oncology department. You can ask the patient navigator if they have one, and ask that person to make recommendations...

but mostly it's about what makes you feel comfortable and understood and if you find a social worker who specializes in oncology then that too would be a perfectly good choice. It's whatever works for you, as long as the professional in question understands the needs of women cancer patients...

Have 2 sisters and numerous friends who have experienced breast cancer and are survivors. Am praying for all who are on this journey. Have a brother-in-law who just had colon cancer and prostate cancer surgeries. Any books on this subject will be appreciated.
